No further scrutiny was needed. The moment Courtyard arrived in this region, it had already sensed that something was wrong.
Assimilating this landmass was proving exceptionally difficult.
According to the original plan, Lu PingAn had intended to use the "vacancy" in the divine kingdom to swallow it whole and take it away. If it could be digested on the spot, then it would be; if not, it would be taken into the void and digested slowly.
But the plan had run into trouble from the very start. Courtyard had initially managed to assimilate part of the surface in the volcanic region, but it could not reach any deeper.
That was clearly abnormal, yet it delighted the visitors from Earth. It meant there really might be something underground.
"Only existences at the Divine Realm level or above can resist this kind of erosion, right?"
Courtyard had barely descended before it naturally became embroiled in another round of warfare.
This time, however, the local warriors were highly excited.
So many warriors threw themselves into the fight not merely because they had just bought "Life Insurance," but because of the enormous profit potential the battle offered.
Radiant Stones fetched a very high purchase price in Courtyard, yet many warriors and mercenaries were still stockpiling them. They hoped to bring this local specialty back to Mother Star Earth and sell it at an astronomical price. It was obviously a gamble, with a high chance of losing money, but if they won, the returns would be immense.
They were betting that the Radiant Stones were of sufficiently high grade that, even after leaving the support of Evolution World's rules, they would retain most of their effects. If that happened, they would make a fortune.
And if some new
