Above the vast South Sea, a blur shot past with a whoosh. That blur was Lynn, and his destination was the planar teleportation array located in the South Pole Icefield.
As he flew, Lynn also reflected on what had happened before his departure.
Before leaving the Orlando Plane, he had distributed all the divine sparks and Divine Artifacts on him to his father and Teacher Desman. He had kept only a longsword and Sky Radiance for himself.
"Once I get to a Supreme Plane, I'll have to start from scratch!"
A God's speed was astonishing. Before long, eleven enormous Magic Arrays came into Lynn's view upon the white, frigid icefield.
Beside the Magic Arrays stood a castle, where the Plane Guardian of the Orlando Plane resided.
"Mr. Salons!" Lynn directly sent a voice transmission to the Plane Guardian, who was cultivating within the castle.
Whoosh!
A figure flew out of the castle. Only after Lynn deliberately revealed his aura did Salons notice him. "Oh, so it's you, Lynn! Are you planning to go to one of the Supreme Planes?"
"Yes." Lynn nodded. "I'm going to Hell!"
Going to Hell rather than directly to the Netherworld was a decision Lynn had made after careful consideration. After all, in the original novel, the protagonist Linley had gone to Hell, so its descriptions of Hell were more detailed. Lynn also knew more about Hell's customs and conditions.
He would adapt better to the local environment if he went to Hell.
Besides, by the time he had the ability to ask the Death Sovereign to revive his family, the cost of planar teleportation should be nothing to him. There was no need to hurry to the Netherworld now.
A purple crescent moon, shaped like a sickle, hung in the night sky. It cast a hazy, eerie purple moonlight over the boundless world below.
Hell, one of the Four Supreme Planes, was also the most chaotic and bloodthirsty of them all.
The pitch-black lake water rippled faintly. Yet upon closer inspection, it was not lake water at all, but black flames burning without cease. Tongues of fire writhed and flickered, as though they wished to devour all things. This was a renowned perilous region of the Muya Continent—Black Flame Lake!
Hell was divided into two seas, the Sea of Chaos and the Star Mist Sea, as well as five continents of varying sizes: Purple Thorn Continent, Kalosha Continent, Muya Continent, Blood Peak Continent, and Bifu Continent.
They were respectively ruled by seven Main Gods of the Destruction Lineage. Each of these seven regions had a planar teleportation array, and experts teleported from Material Planes would randomly appear at one of those seven arrays.
Black Flame Lake was where the planar teleportation array of the Muya Continent was located!
Beside the lake shore stood an ancient castle built entirely from silver ore. The castle seemed to have existed since time immemorial, emanating an eternal, indestructible aura.
In the open space at the center of the castle stood two enormous and incomparably complex Magic Arrays.
"Bzzz~"
One of the giant teleportation arrays began to glow with hazy light, and then a figure appeared at its center.
A bearded warrior of the Muya Legion guarding the teleportation array casually swept his Spiritual Sense over the figure. "Another rookie has arrived!"
But his expression quickly turned solemn. When his Spiritual Sense as a God swept over that spot, he found nothing at all—yet there was clearly a figure standing there!
"An expert! Definitely an expert!" With that thought, the carelessness vanished from his face, replaced by caution.
As the hazy light of the teleportation array faded, Lynn stood at its center and curiously surveyed his surroundings. Three men clad in silver battle robes stood guard by the array: one Highgod and two Gods.
Meanwhile, dozens of creatures of various appearances stood in the open space nearby. There were deities and Saint Domain experts among them!
"The elemental aura is far denser than in the Material Planes, and the fluctuations of the laws are much clearer as well!" As Lynn walked out of the teleportation array, he silently sensed the incredibly dense elemental energies of every type in the surrounding space.
"No wonder Linley in the original novel could even cultivate the fire element into godhood after arriving in Hell. With energy this abundant and elemental fluctuations this clear, even a pig gestated in Hell would be born into the Saint Domain!"
Seeing Lynn walk out of the teleportation array, the bearded warrior hurriedly reminded the Highgod warrior beside him, "Boss, this gentleman is a Highgod!"
"I know!" The Silver-robed Highgod Warrior nodded and smiled at Lynn. "Welcome to Hell, my lord!"
Lynn looked at him and asked, "Which continent is this?"
He was clearly on land now, and according to the original novel, Hell had five continents. Naturally, he first needed to figure out where he was.
The Silver-robed Highgod Warrior no longer had any doubts. The moment Lynn asked that question, he became an expert from another plane who had come to Hell to seek adventure in the warrior's mind.
"He can conceal his aura before me, and he can afford the cost of planar teleportation. He's definitely a Six-star Demon, perhaps even a Seven-star Demon-level super expert!"
Thinking this, he did not dare slight Lynn any longer and promptly answered, "This is Black Flame Lake on the Muya Continent!"
"The Muya Continent?" Lynn mused. Although he had not been teleported to the Purple Thorn Continent or Blood Peak Continent, the two continents described in detail in the original novel—
Hell was much the same everywhere. Every continent should be more or less similar.
"Am I supposed to stand over there?" He pointed toward the open space where a group of creatures stood and asked.
"Huh?"
Lynn's question left the purple-robed Highgod at a loss.
Wasn't he a super expert from another plane?
In the end, the purple-robed Highgod did not dare ask Lynn to stand in the open space off to the side. Instead, he took out fine wine and, while inviting Lynn to drink, invited him to join the Muya Legion.
Lynn pondered the suggestion of joining the Muya Legion for a moment before ultimately refusing.
If he joined the Muya Legion, he would have a powerful backer and could basically swagger across the Muya Continent. Yet at the same time, becoming part of a Main God's army would naturally subject him to many restrictions and require him to carry out all kinds of missions.
Compared to that, roaming alone or becoming a Demon offered far greater freedom.
By the time dawn broke and the Blood Sun rose, nearly a hundred people had gradually gathered in the open space beside the teleportation array. They were all beings who had teleported to Hell from the Material Plane.
Most of these beings were in the Saint Domain, with only a small number being Demigods or Gods.
The Muya Legion soldiers in the castle also emerged in twos and threes, chatting and laughing.
The silver-robed female Highgod at the front tossed out a Metal Life. Looking at the group standing in the open space, she said indifferently, "All of you, get inside!"
At once, the god-level beings among the group flew directly toward the Metal Life's interior, while the remaining Saint Domain experts could only watch eagerly.
Hell's gravity was far more terrifying than that of the Material Plane. Those in the Saint Domain could not fly here at all; only after becoming gods did one gain the ability to fly.
The Muya Legion soldiers got all the Saint Domain experts into the Metal Life. Seeing that they were about to depart, Lynn hurriedly flew toward it. "Take me with you!"
As he flew, he did not forget to send a voice transmission to the Highgod soldier who had been chatting happily with him. "Valere, I'll treat you to a drink when I get the chance!"
