Bo Yikao returned to Xiqi and confronted Ji Fa about the succession plot, but Yun Ting’s explosion killed Bo Yikao and Jiang Ziya. Yuanshi then staged a duel with Yun Ting in the Void of Chaos to disguise their alliance and prepare to deceive the Western Region’s two powers.

• Wenzhong released Bo Yikao, who returned to Xiqi and accused Ji Fa of arranging the rumors that led to his being made into meat pies.
• Ji Fa invited Bo Yikao into the main tent and asked Jiang Ziya to keep him from dwelling on the succession dispute.
