Chapter 12: Aerobics (Recommendations and Favorites Requested)
In a room upstairs at this moment, a man and a woman were engaged in a very intense "battle."
The two were business partners. Their companies were supposed to be discussing business today, and then they had a bit to drink...
"Alright, President Yin, it's over. I guess this counts as a successful partnership?"
"Mhm, President Ma, a successful partnership."
They say the entertainment industry is messy, but the business world isn't exactly clean either.
Ma Gang, now fully dressed, arrived at the underground parking garage. When he saw his car was locked, his expression changed. He was in a hurry to get back to the company; there were contracts to handle. What was he going to do without his car now?
He immediately called property management to ask what was going on.
The property manager, finally receiving a call from the car owner, quickly said, "Sir, because you occupied another owner's parking spot, that owner has locked your car."
"What? Wasn't that spot empty?"
Ma Gang said angrily, "Why didn't you notify me before locking my car?"
The manager replied, "I apologize, sir. You were registered as President Yin's guest, so we called President Yin. Her phone is turned off."
"So what do I do now?" Ma Gang asked in a deep voice. He knew perfectly well why her phone was off; it was a crucial moment.
"That owner wants you to call him."
Fan Yu didn't give the matter of the underground garage a second thought. He entered his palm print, and the elevator slowly ascended.
His apartment was in Building 1, also the building with the largest average unit size in Tomson Riviera.
Building 1 contained only large units, with each apartment being around five hundred square meters, and some even reaching over seven hundred square meters.
Fan Yu's apartment was a massive eight-bedroom unit, eight hundred square meters.
Tomson Riviera's facilities were extremely advanced. The elevators in every building required a palm print to enter; non-owners simply couldn't get in.
The elevator stopped at the 49th floor.
It wasn't the top floor, but the second-highest.
However, upon entering the apartment, Fan Yu was surprised to find that the 50th floor also belonged to him.
It was a true super-duplex. A duplex was already two floors, but now the 49th and 50th floors were connected, making it four floors in total.
There were stairs and an elevator for moving between levels, two methods of access. There was a private elevator for entering the unit and another internal elevator for moving between floors. It was incredibly luxurious.
Many of the apartment's designs were automated. For example, if no one was home but you wanted to return for a bath, the bathtub in the bathroom would automatically fill with water, complete with a temperature regulator and a water level sensor.
There was absolutely no possibility of forgetting to turn off the faucet and causing an overflow.
There was also a remote-controlled air conditioner that maintained a constant temperature year-round, preventing anyone from feeling too hot or too cold.
There were multiple, not just one, walk-in closets. Each bedroom also had its own private bathroom.
New bed linens and blankets were neatly arranged in the wardrobes, enough to last for a year or even longer.
"Alright, this is good. It feels much more comfortable than my previous place, Yuan Zhong Yuan."
The electronic curtains slowly opened, revealing the breathtaking Huangpu River view, a panoramic seascape. The view was unobstructed, and one could clearly see Financial Street.
The apartment was spotless. Logically, an unoccupied apartment would have some dust, but Tomson Riviera's property management service was exceptionally thorough. Unoccupied units were cleaned by dedicated staff every day.
Still, with such a large apartment, it would be difficult to clean it oneself if it got dirty, wouldn't it?
Without dwelling on it, he went to the balcony, sat on a lounge chair, and drifted off to sleep before he knew it.
