Release Statement

I hadn't planned to write a statement, but after thinking it over, I decided to.

First, I wanted to thank all the readers who had supported me. Although I didn't know how many people would leave once the book went premium, I was still grateful for everyone's support and companionship along the way.

The author had seen all your support firsthand. From being completely ignored to surpassing ten thousand weekly recommendations, I had been doing my best to repay you. Updates had been slow these past two days because the release was coming up, and I'd been building up a backlog.

The release was simple: after midnight tonight, I'd drop ten chapters at once. Although updating that much would lower the first-day subscription average, it was fine. Just subscribe if you can.

After release, there would be a guaranteed five updates a day—that was ten thousand words daily. I'd do my best to work toward ten updates a day.

One extra chapter for every fifty Monthly Votes; one extra chapter for every five thousand coins in tips. It might not seem like much, but a single Alliance Leader might kill me. One extra chapter if the average subscriptions exceeded two hundred.

If I ended up owing too many extra chapters, I might have to stay up late writing to pay everyone back.
