Chapter 36: Number 22 (Third Update)

After breakfast, Fan Yu and his parents went downstairs. Su Xi was already waiting for them in the underground garage.

The nanny van hadn't been driven back by the bodyguards, as it was still needed to take Fan Zhicheng and the others to The Bund for sightseeing.

Fan Yu handed Su Xi a car key. "Here, this is for you."

Su Xi took the car key, looking puzzled. When she saw the car emblem, she exclaimed in surprise, "A McLaren P1?"

"Where did you get it?"

Fan Yu smiled. "Did I ever fail to keep a promise I made to you?"

Watching Fan Yu and Su Xi chatting, Fan Zhicheng and his wife exchanged a knowing smile.

"I've had Liu Jian transfer the license plate to you. It's still five nines."

"Mhm, thank you," Su Xi said softly.

Fan Yu shook his head. "You picked up my parents at the airport yesterday. I haven't thanked you yet. Consider this car my thank you."

Getting into the nanny van, Fan Yu started the engine and headed towards the Jiali Hotel.

As soon as they arrived at the hotel entrance, they saw his uncle's family waiting there.

The Bund is Magic City's most famous tourist attraction, located along the Huangpu River. From here, one can see the scenery of Lujiazui and Pudong on the opposite bank. It's said to be even more breathtaking at night.

Fan Yu spent the entire day sightseeing with his parents and his uncle's family. They went from The Bund to the South City commercial street, and even visited the Oriental Pearl Tower, making his parents and his uncle's family extremely happy.

It wasn't until evening that everyone returned, tired but content.

After sending his uncle's family back to the hotel and booking their return flights for the next day, Fan Yu took his parents home.

His parents had originally wanted to return with his uncle's family, but Fan Yu and Su Xi persuaded them to stay.

The elderly couple didn't insist on leaving and decided to stay in Magic City for a while longer.

As for his aunt, Xie Yuqing, when she called earlier, she mentioned being very busy with her company and couldn't make it. His parents said they would visit her at her company tomorrow.

Su Xi, dressed in a Burberry outfit and wearing a limited edition Patek Philippe watch worth 7.2 million, walked out of the elevator.

"Hi, good morning."

Fan Yu greeted her.

Su Xi nodded slightly. "You're up early."

Fan Yu smiled. "I have something to do today, so I got up early."

"By the way, where did Chairman Su decide to locate the restaurant?"

Su Xi nodded. "The Bund."

"The Bund?" Fan Yu looked confused. "Are there any suitable locations there?"

As a landmark of Magic City, The Bund's commercial market is already saturated. Moreover, most of The Bund consists of historical buildings. To open a five-star restaurant, it seems unlikely there would be a suitable building.

The first step for a five-star restaurant to open is to have a standalone commercial building. Otherwise, could a five-star restaurant share a building with others?

Although The Bund has a good location and high foot traffic, there doesn't seem to be a suitable place.

Su Xi pondered for a moment. "My father said he's already made arrangements. I don't know the specifics yet; someone will provide us with the details later."

Su Xi drove the McLaren P1 with Fan Yu inside towards The Bund.

The Bund Number 22, a building of great historical significance, is said to have stood for over a hundred years and is a landmark building on The Bund.

Arriving in front of Number 22, Fan Yu couldn't help but exclaim, "Chairman Su has really gone all out. He managed to acquire this place?"

Su Xi nodded. "This building used to be a dilapidated structure. However, due to its feng shui and historical significance, demolition orders were never issued.
