Cangyuan Hou vanished from where he stood, leaving nothing behind.
Gu Ce opened the case on the table and saw a clump of grass curled up inside. It was entirely white, around sixty centimeters tall, with silvery-white roots and stems.
"Rimuru, how does this thing recognize its master?" Gu Ce asked.
"Cut your wrist and feed it with your blood." Rimuru answered quickly. "But do not make it recognize you as its master yet. Once we return, I will prepare the materials needed for its initial cultivation."
"Alright." Gu Ce nodded and put away the Star-Eating Grass Sapling.
The trip to the Ku Hai Secret Realm had come to an end!
Everything had been settled, so next...
Gu Ce looked helplessly at Gongtel, who was following behind him and refusing to leave.
"Divine Disciple, what is it?" Gongtel asked, confused.
After Kashel became the new Clan Leader and led the Fishmen to migrate to the Cuimu Empire, he had not forgotten the ancestral teachings. He specifically sent Gongtel to protect Gu Ce at close range, leaving Gu Ce deeply helpless.
