Nan Feng was even more shocked. "What? You actually have a skill? Why don't I have one?"

One heal earned her two mana potions. Making money really was easy.

The group continued onward. The others, consciously or not, kept Nan Feng behind them to prevent Cave Spiders from attacking him.

Seeing this, Nan Feng could not help sighing that there were still many good people in this world.

In reality, though, they just wanted to snatch more experience points.

After about half an hour, the group finally cleared out all the Cave Spiders near the entrance.

Poor Nan Feng had only gotten 40 experience points.

"Everyone's health is still in good shape. Let's go in." As Su Ziran spoke, Xu Ming entered the cave first with his large shield raised.

Su Ziran and Wu Li followed close behind. Nan Feng and Huang Yuanming trailed behind the two of them, while the four ranged fighters brought up the rear.

Huang Yuanming looked around and discovered that there were actually far fewer Cave Spiders inside the cave. "Brother Nan Feng, why are there fewer spiders in this cave?"

"How would I know? Maybe it's too stuffy in here, so they all went outside for some air?" Nan Feng was also surveying the cave.

The cave was deep but narrow. They occasionally encountered one or two Cave Spiders, but the group quickly dealt with them.

It seemed like there was no danger.

But Nan Feng did not think so.

Based on his experience over the past three days, places like this were very likely to contain elite- or lord-level beasts.

In such a cramped space, they would not be able to fight properly. They could very well be wiped out here.

This cave was dangerous.

As the two chatted, the group advanced another twenty-odd meters.

The light from outside the cave could no longer reach this far, and darkness filled the space before them.

Su Ziran, at the front of the group, raised a hand to signal everyone to stop. "It's too dangerous to move forward in the dark. Light a fire first."

"I'll do it."

The taciturn Wu Chen'an took out a tinderbox from his backpack and quickly made a torch.

Soon, each of the five melee Chosen Ones held a torch, illuminating the path ahead.

The cave was quiet. Every now and then, they could hear the drip-drip of water.

The group advanced another dozen meters or so before a fork appeared ahead.

One path to the left, one to the right.

Wu Yuansheng shrugged. "Either is fine with me. You decide."

Huang Yuanming said, "Men go left, women go right. I think we should take the left path."

Su Yihan snorted softly. "Then I'll go?"

Su Ziran crouched down and examined the traces around them, trying to find some useful information.

Nan Feng was also observing the surroundings when he suddenly noticed something glinting beneath his feet.

It looked like an iron block... Nan Feng calmly stepped on the reflective object while observing the others from the corner of his eye.

Fortunately, no one noticed his little movement.

By then, Su Ziran had finished examining the surrounding traces. He said calmly, "Let's go left. There are fewer spider-crawling traces on the left, so it should be safer."

Just then, a faint sound suddenly came from the path on the right.

Nan Feng was startled and immediately turned his head. Eight eyes the size of basketballs were staring fixedly at him!
