Leaving the western gate of the capital and walking another ten kilometers or so would bring him to the place the stall owner had mentioned.
After all, the stall owner was only a pathetic Level 12. He did not dare venture too far out to hunt.
Ferocious beasts did appear in this area, but their levels were not high, mostly ranging from the teens to the twenties.
Anything above that level had been cleared out by the Chosen Ones of Dragon City.
The remaining low-level ferocious beasts provided a livelihood for the hunters within the city.
If they were wiped out too thoroughly, the hunters would have no choice but to travel farther afield, drastically increasing the danger and hindering the capital's development.
"Beside a large tree, there are three small trees growing together..."
Nan Feng walked along the muddy road, quietly repeating the stall owner's words.
The owner had said that he had found that Hardbone Boar beside those three connected little trees.
But everywhere Nan Feng looked, there were trees.
Where was he supposed to find one big tree and three little ones?
Using trees as landmarks in this little forest—the owner really had a pig brain... Nan Feng grumbled inwardly.
"Forget it. I'll just wander around. Maybe I'll stumble across it?"
Nan Feng began wandering through the small forest.
Morning dew slid from the leaves and dripped onto Nan Feng's shoulders, carrying a fresh scent.
This little forest, largely untouched by humans, had excellent air.
Nan Feng took a deep breath, then slowly exhaled.
"There's a smell of blood."
He had no idea how far away the scent of blood was coming from. Nan Feng could only catch the faintest trace of it.
He continued onward, and the bloody smell in the air gradually became more pungent.
