Five updates done—another day of five updates. I wasn't in very good shape yesterday; I'd been nursing a cold the whole time, and there wasn't even any medicine at home. Most of the time, I was sneezing so hard I could only lie there like a corpse, so the updates came a little late. Sorry about that. Luckily, I still made it in time!
Earlier, an author sent me a screenshot. I don't know when it happened, but I'd actually become number one on Qidian's VIP update rankings. It seemed like it had been a long time since I'd been at the top, haha! It had been quite a while. Although I'd been pushing hard lately, it seemed everyone else was pushing hard too. Forget first place—even the top three had become rare. Basically, I could only stay around the top ten!
But even so, I'm still proud. At the very least, my updates rank in the top ten among all books on Qidian!
Why am I proud? Because it has nothing to do with results, monthly votes, subscriptions, or how many readers I have. The only thing that decides all this is how hard I work. My ranking can often stay within the top ten, so at the very least, I can say that I've worked very hard. My efforts can at least rank in Qidian's top ten, haha. This is the only thing I can currently be proud of!
