After returning, he first went to see the Flame Lord. However, it was merely the Flame Lord's avatar. Only then did he learn that the Flame Lord's true body had been in seclusion for over ten thousand years, leaving behind only an avatar to handle the various affairs of Transformation God Abyss.
Even so, ordinary people had no chance of meeting the Flame Lord.
Ye Xiwen, however, was far too exceptional.
"Have you attained the Dao? No, there is still a flaw. You have not completely attained the Dao, have you?" The Flame Lord's gaze was like a torch, nearly seeing through at a glance the obvious defect in Ye Xiwen's attainment of the Dao. It did not resemble true attainment of the Dao.
"Your Excellency's eyes are indeed like torches. That is exactly the case," Ye Xiwen said.
"Your situation is rather strange." The Flame Lord frowned tightly, as if calculating something. "In your case, it should be that the past cannot be severed. There must be some knot in your heart that cannot be untied. This matter is both easy and difficult; it depends entirely on you."
Ye Xiwen nodded.
