It had originally been a mighty city built by the Stone Clan, but after the human race pacified Stone Province, they took it over. Even now, many members of the Stone Clan lived within the city.
Relatively speaking, the human race had a fairly mild temperament and was not overly exclusionary. Back when the Stone Clan held power, other races could not even gain a foothold in Stone Province.
To the human race, however, this did not matter much. There was not much conflict either.
There were over a hundred million humans and Stone Clan members in the entire city, and they now faced the frenzied assault of the Devouring Sky Demon Race.
From afar, many members of the Devouring Sky Demon Race flying through the heavens wore vicious smiles, their gazes growing ever colder. In their eyes, this was not a famous mighty city at all, but a place where wealth was gathered—especially the Blood Food they desired. So long as they breached this city, they would gain immense wealth and Blood Food.
They had already taken several such great cities when they invaded Stone Province before. Otherwise, they could not possibly have seized a billion humans in one go, not counting the Stone Clan members who had been slain.
Atop the War Fortress, an Emperor of the Devouring Sky Demon Race coldly issued an order. "Send the Stone Clan's Stone Slaves in first. Exhaust the city's reserves!"
