It was the dry season.

Even in a primeval forest like the Mian Gu Black Forest, most trees still had curled leaves, their edges tinged with traces of yellow.

The Thick-skinned Boar's true name among the demon race was the Rock-hide Pig, describing how its hide was as hard and thick as stone.

The two large boars were clearly male and female. The pair of sharp, oil-slicked fangs at the corners of their mouths, each reaching one-point-five meters long, showed that they were not to be trifled with. Their size was also especially exaggerated. Though they were only Apprentice Fifth Order, they were nearly seven meters long and almost three meters tall.

When the little boar tried to leave the mud pit, the larger male boar curled and whipped its tail, knocking the more than two-meter-long little boar off balance and sending it tumbling back into the mud.
