Chapter Summaries

Mu Zi and the Sacred Abyss fought to stop the Devouring Demon Emperor’s overwhelming attack, but only Ling Er and Zi Ling’s combined power could halt his demon palm. After Ling Er was weakened, Mu Zi sent her away and charged toward the Emperor herself.

• Mu Zi struck the weak point in the Devouring Demon Emperor’s giant demon palm, but her attack only slowed it briefly.
• Qin Tian, Lu Tong, Shi Luo, and the other Sacred Abyss experts joined forces, and Lu Tong summoned a projection of the Great Thousand Palace, but the Emperor’s palm crushed it.

Mu Zi arrived at the Sacred Abyss as Spirit Sovereign, a Quasi-Heavenly Demon Emperor of the Spirit Demon Clan, threatened its defenders. She calmed Ling Er and prepared to face him alone, insisting she could keep him there.

• Spirit Sovereign revealed that he belonged to the Spirit Demon Clan, and Lu Tong, Qin Tian, and Shi Luo realized how formidable his immense Demon Power was.
• Ling Er stepped forward with the Heavenly Net Umbrella and challenged Spirit Sovereign.
• Mu Zi appeared, calmed Ling Er, and told her to leave the fight to her mother.

Mu Zi became the first Demon Subjugation King after defeating Spirit Sovereign by erasing the remnant soul of Spirit Heavenly Demon Emperor. Though she remained the strongest person in the Sacred Abyss, the battle had badly overdrawn her mind and spirit, and she left to recover as the Great Thousand World prepared for the Extraterritorial Evil Clan’s next move.

• Mu Zi’s victory made her a Demon Subjugation King, and the Sacred Abyss’s experts looked on with reverence.
• Mu Zi told Lu Tong to contact Saint Grade experts and bring them to the Sacred Abyss, while Lu Tong said he had already alerted the Great Thousand Palace.

As Mu Zi’s attack closed in, the emperor summoned a black-and-white Saint Flame and called on the Saint Demon Great One to destroy Saint Abyss.

• Mu Zi and Ling Er joined the Guardian Array of Saint Abyss with Spirit Arrays they had prepared, unleashing the Nine Heavens Star Array.

• Saint Abyss's residents praised Mu Zi for strengthening the city's defenses, healing experts, and providing them with saint artifacts.
• A tremendous explosion shook Saint Abyss, and Lu Tong learned that a large enemy force, including several Demon Emperors, had appeared to the north.
• Mu Zi left to face the attackers, while Lu Tong discovered demonic forces emerging from every direction and tried to summon reinforcements.
• North of Saint Abyss, Mu Zi killed a Profound Demon Emperor with a lightning strike as the enemy army gathered before her.

Mu Zi forced the invading Earthly Sovereigns to swear they would never threaten the Luo God Clan again, then revealed herself as the Martial Ancestor. After the Luo Goddess Ritual ended, news of her power, identity, and beauty spread throughout the Great Thousand World.

• Mu Zi warned the invading experts that they would face consequences if the Luo God Clan suffered harm, and they swore never to invade it again.

Mu Zi reached the limit of her cultivation and dissolved the Lifebound Symbol Seal that had long fused her powers together. With her powers now separated and her true spirit made more complete, she prepared to unify them through her cultivation system instead.

• Mu Zi filled her Sea of Reincarnation and cultivated her divine palace to their limits.
• Mu Zi assessed how the Lifebound Symbol Seal fused her Yuan Power, Spiritual Power, and blood and qi, while recognizing that its effect had diminished.

Mu Zi examined the Immortal Great Emperor’s remains and found no surviving spirituality, but kept secret a possible path to his return through his name on the Firmament List. She then reached out to the Great Thousand World’s awakening will and began an attempt whose effects the Undying Lord sensed.

• Mu Zi asked the Undying Lord what the Immortal Great Emperor had left behind, and he explained that the Great Emperor’s undying physical body held his spiritual energy as a legacy.
• The Undying Lord led Mu Zi to the altar on Northern Wasteland Hill, where they saw the Immortal Great Emperor’s body seated on a stone platform.
• Mu Zi sensed that the body held no true life or spirituality and told the Undying Lord that it had fallen completely.
• Mu Zi privately considered that the Great Emperor’s name on the Firmament List might offer a chance of revival, but she withheld this possibility from the Undying Lord.
• Mu Zi rose above the nine heavens, called for the Great Thousand World’s will, and began an attempt that made the Undying Lord sense a fluctuation.

Mu Zi survived the clash with the Heavenly Evil God and sealed the God-Slaying Demonic Spear, while the Great Thousand World routed the Extraterritorial Evil Clan and ended the War of Two Worlds. The Dark Heavenly Demon Emperor and a few other enemy experts remained missing.

After Mu Zi destroyed the demon, the Heavenly Emperor learned how the war against the Extraterritorial Evil Clan had ended and learned that the Heavenly Evil God remained the Great Thousand World’s final threat. He offered Mu Zi the inheritance of One Qi Transforms into Three Purities, and she accepted it.

• The Heavenly Emperor praised Mu Zi for destroying the demon and asked what had happened in the Great Thousand World after his era.
• Mu Zi explained that the Great Thousand World had suffered immense losses, the Immortal Great Emperor had sacrificed himself to seal the Heavenly Evil God, and the war had not truly ended.
• The Heavenly Emperor learned that later generations had wiped out the Extraterritorial Evil Clan in the Great Thousand World, but Mu Zi told him the Heavenly Evil God still had to be destroyed.
• The Heavenly Emperor offered Mu Zi the Heavenly Palace’s inheritance of One Qi Transforms into Three Purities, and Mu Zi agreed to learn its mysteries.
• The Heavenly Emperor sent the divine ability’s spiritual light toward Mu Zi.

After their defeat by Mu Zi, Heavenly King Hall ordered the remaining King Halls to abandon Demon Prison’s operations and conceal its core. He revealed that the Otherworldly Demon Emperor had escaped the Symbol Ancestor’s seal and that their race would now sacrifice its reserves to break the Plane Seal.

• Heavenly King Hall confirmed that Fourth Brother had been killed and admitted that even at full strength he could not defeat Mu Zi.
• The King Halls debated whether to continue Demon Prison’s plan, but Heavenly King Hall ordered them to abandon operations and hide their core.
