After more than a year, this severed limb suddenly grew back-a medical miracle, you could say.

I'm bowing down to all of you in apology. I let a lot of readers down, but at least the limb grew back in the end. Please go easy on me with the scolding. Thank you.

There were a lot of reasons I stopped back then. For one, something major happened in my life. I won't get into that. It's all in the past now, just part of the road that brought me here.

For another, I'd pushed my body and energy to their limits. Just thinking about writing made me miserable. I really couldn't keep going.

Third, I underestimated how hard the ending would be. Leaving loose ends was like having explosive diarrhea; tying them up was like eating shit! Especially since I threw in a time loop at the end-hah, let's not get into it. Just part of the road that brought me here-

Originally, I even wanted to make the final "multiverse" section a volume of its own. But the protagonist had already reached that level of power, so there really wasn't much left for him to do. If I wrote it, it would mostly be from Lucas's perspective, and that would steal a little too much of the spotlight.

So I simply cut it and made it one of the protagonist's final plans instead.

But that also meant some loose ends never got tied up: Harry and Voldemort, for instance, Lucas's journey through the multiverse, some smaller threads from earlier on-the zombie world, the protagonist's childhood, and so on-and even a few I wanted to resolve but missed because I wasn't up to the task. Please just overlook those too-
