At dusk, Murphy, who was calibrating the supercomputer "Athena" at the Magic Research Institute in preparation for transferring Lucas's Horcrux, received an urgent message from the Aurors.
"The Goblin factory at Surrey Mine has been attacked. More than a dozen Aurors are unconscious, and three hundred Goblins are missing."
Before he could figure out what was going on, another message came in. "The Goblin factory in Kent has been attacked. Requesting support. The enemy is Dumbledore! I repeat, the enemy is Dumbledore!"

Well, if a wizard like Dumbledore lowered himself to wage guerrilla warfare against him, Murphy would indeed suffer heavy losses. Ordinary Aurors were no match for Dumbledore, and if Murphy did not intervene personally, the Goblins there would be rescued by Dumbledore as well.
Although the magical metal had already been produced, Murphy was still unsure whether the Magic Radar Plan could achieve the ultimate goal of mass-producing magical metal. Even if it could, it would take time. During that period, Murphy still valued the Goblins' productivity greatly.
