Zombies?
Was the scene he had just seen from some movie?
No, that was unlikely. Whether it was the smell, the light, what he heard, or what he physically felt, all of it had been real. The "him" in his memory should truly have been standing there.
But how was that possible?
He had never experienced any zombie crisis in his previous life.
Then was it a hallucination?
After all, at the time, he had very likely already dived down into the subconscious realm within the sea of memory. Perhaps, just like in a dream, his brain had merely used fragments of memory as material to create such a scene.
The information still had not been completely filled in. Murphy considered it for a moment and decided to try a few more times.
However, when he used Total Recall again this time, he found that a great deal of medical and genetic knowledge had appeared in his memory, but that scene from before never appeared again.
Could it really have been a hallucination?
He could not help thinking back to the scene from several years ago, when he had used "Total Recall" for the first time. Using The Lion King animation as a lead-in, he had submerged himself into his own memories from that time. Back then, he had felt an intense sensation, as if he could possess his past self and thereby control himself from that time.
But after that, he had almost never encountered anything similar again, and he had always treated Total Recall as an ordinary method for sorting through his memories.
This experience, however, made Murphy realize that perhaps the spell Total Recall still had mechanisms he had yet to discover.
Still, that could wait for later research. At the moment, most of
