"Caw—" Munin streaked through the clouds at rocket-like speed.
But another raven suddenly appeared beside him. "Caw, caw—what did you see? Tell me—tell me—"
"Go away! Huginn! Caw, go away!" Munin chased off his annoying colleague. "I'm going to report to Odin myself!"
"Caw, caw! Faithless raven! I despise you, Munin!" Huginn cawed furiously. "Have you forgotten who reminded you to hide in that cave? Caw caw?!"
"Not a raven reminded me!" Munin immediately denied it. "I discovered it myself! Caw caw, you remembered wrong!
I am Memory! Caw caw! Goodbye, forgetful Huginn!"
With that, Munin ignored whatever the other raven said and suddenly accelerated. His body became like mist and lightning, crossing dozens of miles in the blink of an eye before diving down and landing on the shoulder of a god swinging a massive axe on the battlefield.
"Caw caw! Caw caw caw caw!"
The raven chattered noisily beside Odin's ear, and Odin's eyes suddenly widened. "Really? You didn't hear wrong?!"
"Caw caw! Munin heard every word clearly! I remember it without a single mistake!"
"Excellent! Munin!" Odin's bloodstained beard trembled violently. "Excellent! You've rendered great service!"
He then took a horn from his waist and blew it. "The hunt is over! Withdraw!"
On a giant cedar beside the battlefield, another raven saw the troop beginning to retreat and immediately flew over to Munin. "Caw, what did you just tell Odin?"
"Caw caw, too late! Caw caw, Munin already told Odin!" Munin cried proudly, circling away. He was waiting for Odin's reward.
Huginn was utterly baffled. That stupid raven had disappeared for a while just now—who knew where he had flown off to!
