"Gwen's in trouble."
Ye Li hovered in the air, about to operate his wristband, when a figure suddenly rushed out of a nearby alley.
Judging by the figure's build, she was a well-proportioned woman.
She wore a metal mask, a black jacket over a simple white T-shirt, and stretchy jeans.
She moved far faster than an ordinary person and shouted as she ran, "Ghost-Spider! I'm here to help!"
A vein throbbed on Ye Li's forehead. Wasn't that his dear little sister?
She had even lied and said she was too busy to come to the club today. So she had run off to play hero too.
Jessica charged out of the alley and slammed into Rhino with an Iron Mountain Lean, knocking him away and successfully resolving Gwen's crisis.
"Ow, that hurt!" She rubbed her shoulder, baring her teeth slightly. Rhino's armor was still really hard.
"Where did this little brat come from?" Rhino staggered back several steps, surprised that Jessica's small frame held such tremendous strength. She was even stronger than Spider-Woman.
"Big Rhino, I'm your opponent!"
As Jessica spoke, she gave Spider-Woman a thumbs-up. "Ghost-Spider, leave the one in the sky to you!"
Though she was a rookie, she had a clear sense of division of labor. She knew she couldn't reach the Green Goblin in the air.
Jessica wasn't like Ye Li. Ye Li could fly as soon as he loaded a template, while her flying ability still needed training before it could be developed.
Gwen dodged the Green Goblin's attack and replied, "Then I'll leave him to you!"
Though this person wasn't wearing a costume, judging by how she had knocked Rhino away, she was probably a superhero too.
"Kid, you picked the wrong opponent."
Rhino raised his fist with savage force and smashed it toward Jessica. "Leave your name. This is your last chance!"
"Hey!" Jessica kicked off a nearby streetlamp and leaped into the air. She couldn't fly yet, but she could jump incredibly high.
"I'm Knightress, and I specialize in riding dumb rhinos like you!"
She easily dodged Rhino's punch, which shattered the ground, then landed atop his head.

Just as Jessica was feeling smug, her foot caught on the long horn atop Rhino's head.

Her footing slipped, and she fell from Rhino's head. The metal mask on her face also flew off to the side.

Jessica was completely stunned, and not just because her mask had fallen off.
Why had Ghost-Spider called her by name just now? And why had her voice sounded so much like... Gwen?

Rhino wouldn't wait for her to recover. He charged over and prepared to smash her to death. "You should've listened to your mother and stayed home, but it's too late now!"

Jessica froze awkwardly. I had already worked up all my emotions. Why would you do that?
She asked, "Did you kill it?"

Ye Li pondered it. "It doesn't seem to be moving. Maybe we should just throw it into the river."

Rhino let out a muffled sound from his throat, reacting at just the right time.
Ye Li grinned beneath his suit. "Not dead yet? Perfect!"

The black figure threw one plain, unadorned straight punch after another, while Rhino's screams grew weaker and weaker.
Jessica and the bystanders in the distance were dumbfounded... What was this? How was he more brutal than a Super Criminal?
Every punch landed solidly! So satisfying~!
All his frustration over being tricked into recruiting people for the club was vented out.
Only when Rhino stopped making any sound did Ye Li finally stop punching.
