Connors stood in front of several movers. "You can't take my things away!"
"Dr. Connors, I think you should calm down. Our cooperation has ended."
The representative sent by Osborn Corporation sneered. "We gave you time, but your research can't bring Osborn Corporation any profit. It's time for you to leave."
"I'm almost there! I'm almost there!"
Connors glared. "I'm just a little short!"
"You say that every time. The company is struggling right now. We won't waste any more money on this project."
The representative waved a hand, signaling the movers to start clearing things out. "Give it up, Dr. Connors. Your research is nothing but a fool's dream!"
The Lizard Man Appears! Knightress Shows Her Might!
"You don't understand!"
Connors raised his lone arm, stubbornly blocking the employees. "This will be a great advancement for humanity. You're committing a crime against mankind!"
"Uh..." The movers hesitated and looked at the representative. No one had told them they would have to fight too. That called for extra pay.
"Connors..." The representative's face darkened as he said viciously, "I'll give you one more day to move out of here! If I see you in the lab tomorrow, I'll have someone throw you out with everything else. You'd better leave yourself some dignity."
"Hmph!"
With that, he flicked his sleeve and left with his people.
"One day... one day..."
Connors leaned against a metal instrument, his body going limp as he collapsed to the floor.
"One day isn't nearly enough time to conduct clinical trials!"
He looked at the row of green reagents on the table. A crazed light suddenly flashed in his eyes. He lunged forward, picked up a vial, injected it into a syringe, then aimed it at his arm...

"You only came to ask me to make these little things? Then come pick them up another day."
Tony looked over the Web-Shooters blueprints Black Spider had given him and commented, "They aren't very difficult, but the idea is pretty good—especially this Silk solvent."
"Alright, I'll come get them another day."
Ye Li added, "Also, make a few suits for Knightress and Ghost-Spider. You know, not ordinary clothes. Otherwise, I could just find a tailor."
"A few suits?" Tony was speechless. He came right in asking for several sets when Tony's Iron Man Armor was still under development.

"I didn't make this. If you ever meet Knightress and Ghost-Spider, don't tell them about it."
After giving his instructions, Ye Li prepared to leave. "Handle the suits as you see fit. It'd be best if you let me see what a top genius is capable of."
It was better to say as little as possible about the Black Spider identity. Tony was a smart man; the more he said, the easier it would be to slip up.

Ye Li sped along in his flashy customized car. Jessica Jones sat beside him, while Gwen Stacy and Skye occupied the back seat.
"Brother, it's rare for you to drive us to school."
Jessica looked at the scenery flashing past the window, delighted. "I don't have to hop my way to school today~"

"Because I'm Teacher's intern assistant now."
Skye blinked her big black eyes and said playfully, "The very obedient kind~"

"Skye, did you seduce Li?"
Pouting, Gwen reached over to tickle Skye's sides. "You little vixen!"
"Ahahaha~ Gwen, stop~" Skye tried to dodge, but she was no match for Gwen's agility.
Gwen caught her in her arms and rubbed her like a cat, tickling her until tears nearly came from her eyes.
"Skye, aren't you my assistant? Why did you run off to Li instead?"
Jessica also became angry. "Traitor! For that little bit of allowance from Brother, my legs are already sore."
"Hm?" Gwen stopped, confused. "Jessica, what does Li's allowance have to do with your sore legs?"
