How should I put this? This book was going premium at around 130,000 words, which was indeed a bit too soon. But I had no choice. I had already crashed and burned on two books in a row—you can check my author page; both original works fell apart—and nearly 500,000 words of saved drafts had gone to waste. I wrote full-time from home and relied on writing novels to make a living. I talked it over with my editor, and it would be going premium at midnight on July 1st. Only by launching on the first could I receive the full attendance bonus from the beginning to the end of the month. I didn't dare delay any longer. If the early launch hurt everyone's desire to keep reading, then I'm very sorry. I apologize!
If you all are still willing to read this book, then I'd like to ask for your subscriptions. If not, we'll meet again in the comments. I only ask that you come back and toss in some recommendation votes. Those are free.
I had already expected the results to be terrible if this book went premium early, but I want to tell those readers willing to pay for a subscription: no matter how bad the results are, I will finish writing it. I won't abandon it halfway through. My previous book, Blade of Light and Darkness, had abysmal results. By the end, there were only around a dozen subscribers left, but I still finished it. Although it was terribly written, haha!
It will go premium on July 1st. No matter whether the results are good or bad, I absolutely won't abandon it!
Thank you, everyone!
