"Something happened!" Not long after, Bei Bei and Tang Ya arrived as well. Bei Bei frowned when he saw Huo Yu Hao lying there with his eyes tightly shut, seemingly unconscious.
"A Ze, what happened?" Tang Ya hurried to Qin Ze's side. She lowered her head to look at Huo Yu Hao, and seeing his clothes torn to shreds, worry immediately filled her eyes.
Qin Ze reassured her, "It's fine. Brother Huo just fainted. It was my fault—I arrived a step too late."
Hearing that, Tang Ya still felt somewhat guilty. If she had not gone to wash up, perhaps this would not have happened.
Meanwhile, Bei Bei lowered his head to inspect the Wind Baboon lying in the grass. After turning it over, he noticed a wound more than a foot long on its body. It had clearly been inflicted by some kind of sharp weapon.
The wound was deep enough for its heart to be seen. The baboon's heart had already been shattered, which was evidently the true cause of death.
"It should have been this Soul Tool of Brother Huo's that saved his life." Qin Ze casually picked up the White Tiger Dagger from the ground and waved it around.
Bei Bei and Tang Ya both turned their gazes toward the exquisitely designed Soul Tool dagger.
Bei Bei took the Soul Tool from Qin Ze and injected a trace of Soul Power into it. Instantly, after the core formation inside the dagger came into contact with the Soul Power, it flashed with a faint blue glow. The light soon dimmed, leaving the dagger covered in a hazy blue sheen.
"This Soul Tool is of fairly good quality." Bei Bei did not know much about Soul Tools, but he could still tell that this dagger was valuable.
