Background / History

Little Barty is the son of Mr. and Madam Crouch. Before Lucretia joined the household, he sought his father's attention through academic achievement and successful spellwork, but became resentful after feeling that his efforts went unrecognized. Winky recalls that he was once more open with her, particularly when ill, but that he had become withdrawn by the time Lucretia arrived. 23
