As he listened to Eric speak from the light screen, Derrick frowned slightly.
Psychic weapons, force weapons, and force battle suits!
All three were controlled items on Kuka Planet and could only be exchanged for contribution points through official channels.
Little One was a warrior and a student at the United Training Camp, so it was normal for him to possess a Tier 1 force weapon.
But possessing a damaged psychic weapon was highly abnormal!
"Little One!" Derrick asked nervously. "Where did you get this damaged psychic weapon? You mustn't do anything that violates imperial law!"
Caught off guard by the question, Eric looked startled. His thoughts raced, and he quickly guessed where Seventh Dad's anxiety and concern came from.
So, he explained with a smile, "Seventh Dad, don't worry! Our team obtained this Sky-Breaking Sword during the grassland trial.
"Not only do I have one—our other four teammates have them too. They definitely weren't acquired through smuggling."
Hearing this explanation, Derrick finally relaxed. "Good, as long as that isn't the case."
He had been so worried because smuggling controlled weapons was a serious crime on Kuka Planet. Anyone involved in smuggling would be punished severely!
He did not want his nephew, whose future was so bright, to ruin it over smuggling.
After clearing things up, Eric saw that Seventh Dad had fallen silent and continued speaking to Li Qi. "Eleven, aside from the Sky-Breaking Sword, the box also contains a manual I asked a friend to obtain in the Virtual Universe.
"But for the specifics of learning and using the Sky-Breaking Sword, it would be best to ask Sixth Dad. After all, he is currently the family's only planetary-level psychic master and has experience using psychic weapons."
Hearing this, Li Qi took out the Sky-Breaking Sword's components and found a hidden compartment at the bottom of the metal case. Inside was a very thin booklet.
Having studied the universal language since childhood, Li Qi had no trouble reading it. He easily made out the words on the manual's cover: "Detailed Explanation of the Skybreaker Sword from the Cloud Sky Sword."
After receiving the manual, Li Qi nodded. "I will, Big Brother."
Now that the gift has been delivered, it's time to get down to business, Eric thought.
"Seventh Dad, could you leave for a moment?" Eric said to Derrick. "I want to talk to Eleven alone."
"Alright."
Derrick nodded and turned to leave.
Once Seventh Dad had gone, Eric spoke. "Sigh! Eleven, you've been rather slack these past few years."
Li Qi nodded, unable to say anything.
"I know what you're thinking." Eric smiled gently. "You love the family and don't want to leave it."
Li Qi abruptly raised his head, his face full of astonishment!
He had never told anyone that he did not want to leave the family.
How had Big Brother learned what he was thinking?
"Because you don't want to leave the family, you became slack," Eric continued. "You used it to delay the time when you would have to leave, and even said you would wait until you turned sixteen before going to Zhaoguang Academy."
"How did you know, Big Brother?" Li Qi could not help asking.
"How did I know?" Eric explained with a smile. "Of course—it's because I had the same thoughts before."
Hearing Big Brother's answer, Li Qi froze for a moment. Thinking back on his memories of Big Brother, it really was true.
Before Li Qi had even been born, Big Brother had already gone to Zhaoguang Academy to train. Every time he returned, he would play with his younger brothers and sisters.
After he went to the United Training Camp, he could no longer return due to the distance. Yet no matter how busy he was, he would always make time for video calls with his younger siblings.
Thinking of this, Li Qi smiled. "So Big Brother, you had thoughts like that too.
"Then are you still planning to persuade me?"
Eric raised an eyebrow. "Persuade you? Why wouldn't I?"
"Then how are you planning to convince me?"
Eric's smile faded. "You've been to the grasslands and seen the living conditions of those weak tribes.
"What do you think of them compared to our family?"
Li Qi remained silent.
"They're very weak, aren't they?" Eric continued without waiting for Li Qi's answer. "Forget encountering a planetary-level monster—even running into a somewhat larger monster pack could put them at risk of extermination."
Li Qi nodded. He had seen the living conditions of the weak grassland tribes. Compared to the Royce Family, they were worlds apart!
"Then what do you think of the living conditions of our Royce Family?" Eric asked again.
Li Qi was puzzled. Did that even need to be compared?
One was survival, while the other was living. The two were completely incomparable!
"There's no comparison, right?" Eric asked once more.
Li Qi nodded. There truly was no comparison.
"Go to Zhaoguang City! You'll understand once you've been there," Eric suddenly said.
Li Qi frowned. Zhaoguang City again!
First Father, and now Big Brother. Why did they both say he would understand once he went to Zhaoguang City?
These cryptic people are such a headache!
Wouldn't it be better to just say it directly?
Seeing Li Qi's puzzled frown, Eric said softly, "Some things cannot be described in words. Only by truly seeing and experiencing them can you understand.
"Eleven, Grandfather, Third Dad, and the elders all think highly of you. They believe you are the family's hope for the future."
"Isn't there Big Brother? You're the family's hope, Big Brother." Li Qi did not understand.
Eric shook his head slightly. "A family cannot have only one hope, only one pillar."
"It can't have only one pillar?" Li Qi murmured softly, then understood.
Recalling the original story, the Golden Horn Race, which had received quite a bit of focus, had only one pillar: Hirodo. But after Hirodo fell, the race's status plummeted, and it ultimately had no choice but to depend on the Human Race.
"Eleven, I hope you'll think about what we discussed today," Eric said. "Lastly, I still recommend that you visit Zhaoguang City, even if you do not go to Zhaoguang Academy for the time being."
"Zhaoguang City..."
Li Qi drew a deep breath. If possible, he truly did not want to go to Zhaoguang City. He knew how advanced the technology of cosmic humans was. Perhaps once he went there, the secret within his body would be exposed. But if he did not go, he would be unable to be with his family.
Left with no choice, he nodded. "Big Brother, I'll go to Zhaoguang City."
"As long as you're willing to go to Zhaoguang City." Eric was full of confidence. "I believe you'll change your mind after you go."
Seeing that Li Qi was willing to make a change, Eric felt that he had achieved his goal for the day. He picked up a piece of clothing and put it on. "Let's leave it here for today. I still need to accompany Daya while she practices her movement techniques, so I'm logging off first."
Looking at the darkened light screen, Li Qi smiled. He was happy that Big Brother had a lover.
Once his happiness faded, his smile disappeared as he began to ponder. What secret is Zhaoguang City hiding?
Unable to think of any clues, Li Qi lowered his head and saw the metal case containing the Sky-Breaking Sword, as well as the thin "Detailed Explanation of the Skybreaker Sword from the Cloud Sky Sword."
He picked up the manual and read it carefully before pondering, *The manual says that to unleash the Skybreaker Sword, one's psychic power amplitude must reach 8. Each additional Sky-Breaking Sword requires an additional 1 point of psychic power amplitude.
*With my ability to control sixteen bone awls for simultaneous attacks, I should meet that psychic power amplitude requirement. But how do I activate the secret engravings?
I still need to find Sixth Dad.
With that thought, he put the manual back into the metal case and rushed toward Sixth Dad Garibuel's home with the case in hand.
