"Though both are Infinite Great Dao, the Infinite Great Dao I opened in the past and the one I have opened now are actually Great Daos in two different directions, both taken to extremes."

He pondered. "The Great Dao I opened in the past, meanwhile, pursued the evolution of the world within my body, relying on its evolution to break free of the Cage."

"But as far as I know, there are currently only three paths to breaking free of the Cage..."

Li Qi thought back carefully. "First, fuse with Chaotic Origin bloodlines and undergo an ultimate awakening. This path has the lowest ceiling. Many who break free of the Cage ultimately stop at high-level Chaotic Origin lifeforms, while very few become world-class Chaotic Origin lifeforms."

"Second, gain control over more than half of a Source World's Origin Great Daos, thereby refining the Source World. Once successful, one can become the master of the Source World, break free of the Cage, and become a world-class Chaotic Origin lifeform. This was the Sect Master's path to becoming Chaotic Origin."

"Third, master a Dao at the Chaotic Origin level and prove the Dao through strength, directly becoming the strongest among Chaotic Origin lifeforms... a Chaotic Origin Lord!"

Finally, he thought to himself, In my past life, I took the last path—the most difficult one.

Under normal circumstances, Dao comprehenders from the cultivator lineage all took one of the latter two paths.
