Background

World Beasts are born in the Universe Sea as a calamity of Destruction. During their gestation stage, one billion are produced; they are fated to slaughter and devour one another until only one remains. The final survivor enters the growth stage as the true World Beast King, a being capable of devouring everything and nurturing powerful warriors from the complete world within its body. 703

Their ordinary evolutionary process is intrinsically brutal. World Beasts regard the death and consumption of their own kind as part of the path to producing a king, while every individual still strives to survive and become that king itself. Their innate connection lets every World Beast sense the death, location, and condition of its kin across any distance. 712 729

The World Beast collective initially inhabits the Dark Land, a black-mist region within the Tilted Peak Sector. The environment becomes a vast hunting ground where World Beasts fight, recover energy, and prey upon one another. 712

Appearance

Gestation-stage World Beasts are generally described as jet-black, ugly creatures with an evil aura fundamentally opposed to divine power. Their bodies are exceptionally tough; even a dead specimen is judged to be at least as resilient as a top-tier supreme treasure. 713

  • Examples such as Morosa and Mengqu have two heads, each bearing a single eye. 726 741
  • They can transform into other shapes and imitate divine-power auras, allowing them to infiltrate the Universe Sea unnoticed. 722
  • A World Beast King is radically different in appearance: Naiwenmore becomes a flawless, snow-white humanoid with no ears and two upward-curving white horns. 742

Temperament and Social Structure

World Beasts regard other Universe Sea lifeforms as “food.” They consider themselves noble beings of Destruction and view enslavement by an outsider as worse than death. 712 728

Despite their shared purpose, they are not a unified society. They can instantly exchange information and temporarily coordinate against major threats, but their instinct to become the final king drives constant rivalry, hunting, and mutual devouring. 712 727

Li Qi's enslavement of Naiwenmore causes every surviving World Beast to sense the event. Their fear of Li Qi turns into collective fury, and both Li Qi and Naiwenmore become their foremost targets. 728 729

Abilities & Traits

World of Destruction

Each World Beast contains an internal “world” that is central to its power and survival.

  • The inner world resists foreign power and conceals the soul deep within the creature, making enslavement and will-based attacks exceptionally difficult. 712
  • World Beasts can release black rays and mist-like cocoons to devour miniature-universe origins. 712
  • Devouring another living World Beast's “world” is the most effective means of evolution; consuming corpses is substantially less effective. 730
  • A newly born World Beast's life structure contains one hundred thousand points of light, each resembling an ultra-miniature World Beast. 714

Devouring

World Beasts can consume both their own kind and external sources of energy.

  • Devouring fellow World Beasts advances their evolutionary stage. 703 729
  • Devouring a miniature universe's origin can collapse that universe if allowed to continue. 722
  • They can absorb chaos flows to recover, though this is slower than consuming miniature-universe origins. 729
  • A World Beast King requires vast energy and treasures to nurture its Destruction Warriors. 742

Combat and Survival

Even newborn World Beasts are True God-level lifeforms with material and soul attacks, making them dangerous to ordinary Universe Sea experts. 714

  • Their power is fundamentally opposed to divine power. 713
  • They can split into numerous avatars to flee; Slada divides into ninety-nine bodies, though each individual avatar becomes much weaker. 712
  • Their transformation technique can mimic the aura of divine power closely enough to breach a True God blockade. 722
  • Later stages gain increasingly dangerous escape, domain, Destruction, and cloning techniques as listed in the power-progression table. 729

Telepathic Perception

All World Beasts are innately connected.

  • They can sense one another's approximate positions, deaths, and life states across any distance. 712 733
  • This connection allows the collective to rapidly identify threats, as when Gula's memory of Li Qi is used to identify him through World Beast servants. 712
  • Naiwenmore retains this perception after enslavement, allowing Li Qi to track high-priority World Beasts such as Bedi. 730 733

World Beast King

The final king is a qualitatively different existence from a gestation-stage World Beast.

  • It retains prior abilities, including countless incarnations. 742
  • It comprehends the complete Origin of Destruction and grows stronger through continued comprehension. 742
  • Its perfected inner world can nurture warriors stronger than sixth-stage World Beasts. 742
  • A peak World Beast King can accumulate energy until reaching the God King realm and can establish a Destruction Legion. 781

Relationships

  • Li Qi / Kong He True God — principal enemy of the World Beast collective; he kills Slada, defeats Morosa, hunts the Dark Land population, and enslaves Naiwenmore. 712 726 728
  • Naiwenmore — captured World Beast who becomes Li Qi's servant, provides the World Beasts' evolutionary information, and later becomes the final World Beast King. 729 742
  • Morosa — a World Beast who escapes the Dark Land in disguise to devour miniature-universe origins; later confronted by Li Qi. 722 726
  • Bedi — a peak fourth-stage World Beast who accelerates its devouring out of fear of Li Qi; Li Qi ultimately tracks and kills it through Naiwenmore's senses. 729 734
  • Hao Lei Star Lord, Zhen Jia King, and Qiu Yan Ancestral God — Universe Sea lifeforms who serve the World Beasts and provide them intelligence about Li Qi. 712
