After leaving Red Maple Base, Wang Tao got his bearings and flew toward the next laboratory.

The next laboratory was not too far from Red Maple Base. After flying for a little over an hour, they reached their destination.

But when Wang Tao saw the scene before him, he frowned.

"This..."

Everyone else opened their mouths as well.

Before them lay a stretch of city ruins, thoroughly abandoned. There were almost no intact buildings left, only a massive circular crater. From within it came an uncomfortable yet familiar aura.

"Radiation..."

Wang Tao knew that aura all too well. It was radiation.

Clearly, the underground laboratory here had suffered a nuclear explosion.

"You wait here for now. I'll go down and take a look."

Wang Tao spoke to the others.

Although everyone was strong enough now to withstand radiation, it was still a negative status effect. If they were ambushed while affected by it, things could get troublesome.

Moreover, Wang Tao was unsure whether this radiation was merely left behind by a nuclear bomb or whether there were Radiation Zombies here. If they encountered the same Sixth Order Calamity Grade Radiation Zombie he had killed before, their Fifth Order strength would not be enough to withstand it.

Wang Tao had a Radiation Shield that could block a great deal of radiation, but it only worked on him. So he would check first and make sure there were no Radiation Zombies.

"Alright! Be careful!"

The others did not say much and obediently waited in the air. Wang Tao spread his wings, raised the Radiation Shield, and flew into the Deep Pit.

The crater covered a vast area, but it was not as deep as the pit where he had found the Giant Zombie nest before. There were no buildings blocking his view
