Advance to Fifth Order: Holy Blessing

When Wang Tao returned to Long River Base, dawn was already breaking.

A group of survivors helped one another down from the Golden Eagle's back. Looking at the enormous Long River Base before them, they all felt as if it wasn't real.

"Someone will arrange accommodations for you shortly. Rest well for a couple of days, then you can go work at Hope Research Institute."

Wang Tao turned around and said with a smile.

"Yes! Thank you, Mr. Wang!"

The survivors still had much they wanted to say, but after Wang Tao handed them over to the military, he immediately left. He could hardly wait to advance to the fifth order! Although some things during this trip had not gone as hoped—many survivors had died, and several small Survivor Bases had fallen—his overall gains had been quite good.

Wang Tao had originally thought it would take several more days before he could advance to the fifth order, but he had unexpectedly encountered a Night Demon Nest. It had been full of Fourth Order Night Demons, and the Basic Attribute Cores they dropped were exactly what Wang Tao needed. After destroying the Night Demon Nest, he had finally gathered enough cores to advance to the fifth order! As for the Giant Zombie that had appeared afterward, it had been a pleasant little surprise. The blood beads it dropped increased his maximum health by another ten thousand, bringing it to seventy thousand and greatly improving his survivability.

"Wang Tao, you're back!"

Ding Yuqin and the others had just gotten up when they saw Wang Tao return.

"I'm advancing. Don't disturb me for now."

Wang Tao waved at everyone before heading straight back to his room.

Everyone looked at each other, then became both delighted and envious.
