A calm voice came from beside Duan Aohua.
A man in a white shirt appeared on the bridge. There were no fluctuations, no ripples, and his expression was equally still as an ancient well.
Everyone around them stared in astonishment.
There had been no intrusion alert on the flagship, no sign of energy transmission, nor any wormhole vortex or anything of the sort.
It was as though he had been standing there all along.
They simply had not seen him.
Duan Aohua squeezed his eyes shut and open hard. "You're back?"
"Yes."
Liu Di slowly paced forward and looked through the enormous observation window at the pitch-black fleet ahead. "Them... the Cosmic Heavenly Court. I actually couldn't find any information related to them."
He paused.
Liu Di turned his head. "Can you tell me what you know?"
Duan Aohua was still looking around in disbelief. Only then did he come back to his senses and wave away his subordinates, who had already raised their guns at Liu Di.
Then.
Duan Aohua stepped forward several paces and pressed his lips together. "It's normal that you couldn't find information about them."
Liu Di smiled. "That isn't normal at all."
"The Cosmic Heavenly Court."
Duan Aohua also looked ahead. "It lies in a starfield 1.2 million light-years ahead. It is an independent galaxy, roughly 700,000 light-years in diameter—seven times the size of the Milky Way Galaxy, your homeland."
Liu Di smiled. "So what? There are plenty of galaxies in the universe larger than my homeland."
Duan Aohua shook his head. "Your homeland is merely a speck of dust within the Milky Way Galaxy, while that entire galaxy belongs to the Cosmic Heavenly Court."
Liu Di paused. "A civilization with territory spanning
