Naruto subdued the berserk Zero-Tails, rescued the prisoners in the Sky Ninja Fortress, and resettled them on Midway Island. He then made the island his home and began researching ways to increase Chakra using Shinnō’s memories, the Zero-Tails, and the Box of Paradise.
