Temple Grand Competition (Part 1)

Tan Wan had been in Holy City for some time. In order to achieve something in the Temple Grand Competition, she had recently been making her final push. The competition would begin tomorrow, and Li Zhengzhi had practically forced her to come out for a walk and relax her mind. Only then had she left the Holy Alliance Headquarters to wander outside.

Just now, she had inadvertently noticed the white-clad young man standing before the notice board. With her keen perception of magical elements, she immediately discovered something extraordinary about him.

It was a very peculiar feeling. He stood there looking like a human, yet in her perception, this man seemed like a mass of light—a gentle mass of light, as though he possessed no physical substance at all. That soft radiance gave off a special tranquility. It was immensely comforting. Even the urgency she felt over the coming competition had eased considerably after seeing the young man's back.

This was clearly not something an ordinary person could possess. The young man's qualities greatly attracted Tan Wan, which was why she had come over, intending to test him.

There was no doubt that he was a powerful light-element user. Judging from his simple clothing, he did not seem to be a mage either. Could he be a priest? If he were a warrior, assassin, or knight, the Light Element should not have been nearly so gentle.

The wind element she released was not powerful. Its purpose was merely to break the tranquility surrounding the white-clad young man. As long as the wind made his body sway, that feeling of stillness would naturally be shattered.

Yet what shocked Tan Wan was that when the wind element she released reached the white-clad young
