In the deathly silence, Gan Fall was the first to react. "Divine Envoy? Just who are you?"
The Skandia Chief sneered as well. "God? It's not as if our ancestors never killed one!"
Longinus... or rather, the "Divine Envoy," did not grow angry. He merely smiled gently. "A mere giant serpent hardly counts as a god!"
The Skandia Chief's expression changed abruptly, despite his earlier disdain. "How did you know about that?"
"God is omniscient and omnipotent!" Longinus said with a smile. "And as God's Divine Envoy, I can naturally learn everything through the authority bestowed upon me by God!"
"Though I don't know where you learned the Skandia tribe's secret, that alone hardly qualifies as omniscience and omnipotence, does it?" Gan Fall clearly did not believe Longinus's nonsense... "divine" tale.
The Skandia Chief came to his senses as well and asked coldly, "Have you been secretly spying on the hidden secrets of our Skandia tribe all this time?"
Apparently, Skandia's hot-blooded brutes did not have very good tempers. The moment they heard the chief's speculation, someone immediately rode an Ice Blade Type Haki toward Longinus in the sky.
Shriek!
With a single flap of his wings, Minos unleashed a hurricane that blasted all the Skandia warriors in midair into the ground.
Even the remaining Skandia warriors and Angel Island guards were blown stumbling about by the fierce wind, nearly swept away.
"What a powerful beast!" The Skandia Chief felt a chill in his heart. If he had previously been more wary of Minos than afraid, fear had now taken the upper hand.
Forget that unfathomable Divine Envoy—this beast alone was more than enough to crush all of them together.
"Even his mount possesses such terrifying strength. It's hard to imagine just how powerful he himself must be!" Gan Fall
