Elbaf.
Night had already fallen. A furious roar suddenly rang out through the silent Giant Royal Court.
"Pirates are attacking! Take up your weapons and kill them!"
"Haha! I was just worried there wouldn't be a fight!"
"God of Elbaf above, let us have a holy war!"
His Majesty Olaf, the enormous giant whose snores had rumbled like thunder, was jolted awake. He grabbed his battle axe and headed outside.
The elder known as the prophet among the Giant Race was already waiting outside.
"Your Majesty, a large group of pirates has landed on Elbaf."
"A large group? How many could there be?"
"I don't know." The prophet looked somewhat embarrassed. The giant who had returned to report only said there were a great many of them before eagerly rushing back to join the war.
It could not be helped. For most giants, numbers were simply meaningless. Two digits were the limit of their understanding.
The prophet hurriedly added, "However, according to the warrior who reported back, those pirates have nearly covered the entire harbor. There should be at least ten thousand of them."
"Hahahaha! Every giant is a powerful warrior worth a hundred men." The Giant King strode forward. "If they want to fight us, they should bring a million men first."
Near Elbaf's harbor.
The two pirate crews had already begun fighting the giants. Although the truly important figures had yet to enter the fray, the battle before them was already more than spectacular enough.
It could be said that none of the pirates under Apophis and Kaido were weak.
Even so, it generally took ten to twenty men just to barely hold back one giant.
As for the mid-level officers, they could fight one-on-one. A few particularly formidable figures could even handle three or five giants
