Longinus did not stop. He continued slowly advancing.
"You—you don't come any closer!" Usopp's Adam's apple bobbed up and down. The moment he saw that pool of blood, it was as if he had witnessed himself being beaten to a pulp, and his entire body trembled uncontrollably.
"We—we're just passing by," Nami said awkwardly.
As Longinus approached step by step, Zoro and Sanji went on high alert. Just when everyone was so tense that their hearts seemed ready to leap out of their chests, they saw Longinus calmly walk past them and stop in front of the Merfolk Camie.

Hearing his gentle voice, Camie timidly nodded.
"This is completely outrageous. Does this kind of evil trade still exist in Sabaody?" Longinus merely furrowed his brows slightly, yet everyone nearby felt an overwhelming pressure.
Pappug leaped up excitedly. "Admiral Shirozou, please save Camie!"
"I understand. I'll tear off her collar." Longinus reached his right hand toward Camie's fair neck.
"Wait, opening that collar directly will make it explode! Is he trying to blow Camie up?" Usopp looked horrified.
Sanji and the others were about to intervene. They clearly remembered what had happened the last time a slave had forcibly opened a collar.
Unexpectedly, Pappug shouted as though his idol had been insulted, "Lord Longinus is the very, very, very best person in the world! He's the savior of all the peoples beneath the sea!"
Camie also nodded seriously. "Lord Longinus is absolutely trustworthy. He would never hurt me!"
Nami and the others couldn't help widening their eyes. Every Fish-Man they had encountered had been deeply wary of humans, yet Camie and the others trusted Longinus so much that they were willing to entrust their lives to him.
Just how great was
