"They won already?" The Marine soldiers felt as though they were dreaming.
They had believed Commodore Smoker would win, but they had never expected him to win so quickly and easily. The fight had started less than a minute ago!
That was way too short!
But a moment later, cheers erupted.
"Nice work, Commodore Smoker!"
"I told you Commodore Smoker would win! He took the enemy down in just two moves!"
The Marine officers were just as stunned. Since when had that thick-browed Smoker learned to fight dirty?
"That's not the Smoker I know!"
"My god, even a troublemaker like Smoker has learned to fight dirty. I don't know why, but that makes me nervous!"
The CP0 contingent was disappointed, though not particularly surprised.
With Diego's strength, he would not have lost so easily if he had not been caught off guard. But the outcome would have been the same.
After all, they could see that Smoker was stronger than Diego.
Sebastian took a deep breath and forced a smile. "I've seen Commodore Smoker's strength. Shall we begin the next match as soon as possible?"
Longinus nodded slightly. "If that's what you want, Sebastian, of course."
Longinus looked at him calmly, apparently waiting for him to speak first. Sebastian's mouth twitched. "We announced our fighter first in the last match. Shouldn't it be your turn this time, Fleet Admiral Longinus?"
"Oh, I see," Longinus said, as if the thought had just occurred to him. "I thought the compensation you mentioned meant you'd announce your fighter first in every match from now on! Haha, please don't misunderstand, Sebastian. I'm not calling you stingy!"
