"Ugh, what happened to me?" Luo murmured, rubbing his forehead as he sat up in bed.

The moments before he lost consciousness soon came back to him.

I'm not dead? Right—he used his Devil Fruit ability to forcibly interrupt mine. No, he took the ability I was using! Luo's face changed. He leaped out of bed. "Oh no, Drake..."

The door opened, and Drake walked in. "You're already out of bed? Looks like you're recovering well."

"Drake, were we rescued?" Luo asked in surprise. Then he thought it over. "For someone like me, who killed a Celestial Dragon, to end up at Marine Headquarters... The only person with that kind of influence must be our teacher, right?"

"Yeah!" Drake nodded with a smile. "To get even for you, our teacher beat the hell out of that bastard Sebastian!"

Warmth filled Luo's chest, but his resolve quickly hardened. "You should hand me over. The World Government won't let me go!"

Drake smiled. "Our teacher knew you'd say that. He specifically told me to tell you to focus on recovering and stop worrying about everything else. As long as he's here, those problems aren't yours to worry about!"

"Our teacher..." Luo was visibly moved. "Where is he? No matter what, I need to apologize to him. I was too impulsive this time."

"You can't blame yourself. I couldn't have stayed calm in that situation either." Drake patted Luo's shoulder. "As for our teacher, he went to the Holy Land. He hasn't come back yet."
