Big Wolf and the other shadow dogs captured Itachi Uchiha and Kisame Hoshigaki, bringing them to Lilith. After dealing with Kisame and planning to preserve Itachi’s Mangekyo Sharingan, Lilith began contacting Naruto Uzumaki because Konoha’s treatment of him made her want to give him a push.

• Big Wolf and the other dogs chewed through Itachi Uchiha’s Susanoo, knocked him unconscious with medicine, and dragged him and Kisame Hoshigaki into Shadow Space.
• Big Wolf and the others brought both captives to Lilith, who treated Itachi’s wounds and kept him unconscious.

Lilith returned to Konoha and reunited with Naruto, who had become a Ninja and was now part of Kakashi Hatake’s team. She learned that foreign Ninja had gathered in the village for the upcoming Chunin Exams, while Naruto and his teammates went their separate ways.

• Lilith returned to Konoha and noticed unfamiliar people, including Ninja from other villages, throughout the village.

After devouring the Nine-Tails, Lilith extracted nearly all of Shukaku’s Chakra from Gaara and discovered she could condense Shukaku’s consciousness without devouring it completely. Shukaku awakened and immediately began arguing with the Nine-Tails.

• Lilith completely devoured the Nine-Tails, increasing her magic power by half, then planned a route to collect Chakra from the other Tailed Beasts.
• Lilith found Gaara in Konoha, knocked him unconscious, and had the Blood Emperor restrain Shukaku while she extracted its Chakra.

Obito Uchiha and Nagato tried to resist the Vassal Beasts, but space-sealing runes trapped them and the beasts took Ten-Tails' Shell and Nagato's Rinnegan. Lilith appeared before the group as a giant wolf emerged from Obito's shadow.

• Obito hesitated to leave Kamui Space while the Vassal Beasts surrounded Nagato, and Seven-Tails carried away Ten-Tails' Shell protected by space-sealing runes.

• Konan returned to Amegakure, found Nagato among the ruins, and held him as she reassured him that he was alive.
• Obito Uchiha met Black Zetsu in a hidden cave, and they discussed recovering the Rinnegan and Gedo Statue and investigating the strange creatures.

As she remained in Shadow City to digest the Rinnegan’s power, villages discovered their jinchuriki had been weakened, and the Third Hokage grew uneasy about Naruto’s changed Chakra.

• Lilith praised Big Wolf for helping force Obito Uchiha out of Kamui Space, then tested the Blood Emperor’s new ability to carve spatial cracks that cut through a longsword.
• Lilith devoured the Rinnegan, expecting to retain their ability to control the Gedo Statue, while the Vassal Beasts worried she might use the Ten-Tails to destroy the world.
• Lilith stayed in Shadow City to digest the Rinnegan’s power, while the ninja world learned of the nine Tailed Beasts that had appeared in Amegakure.

• When Lilith awoke, her magic power briefly made Shadow City appear in the sky above the ninja world, alarming civilians and ninja alike.
• Lilith discovered that her magic power now replenished with each heartbeat and that she could control elemental forces, blood, and Shadow Power across vastly expanded ranges.
