Background / History

Lu Yunzhu chose the name Misty Sacred Land because he considered the path of immortal cultivation ethereal and elusive. He rejected conventional names such as sect, hall, and gate in favor of “Sacred Land,” which he considered more fitting for a force representing immortal cultivation. 53

Before its public establishment, Lu Yunzhu planned a grand protective formation for the site: the Hexagram Sixteen Array, described as involving the Four Spirits, Four Symbols, Four Fiends, and Four Generals. 59

Construction at Giant Sword Mountain was largely complete after Lu Yunzhu's Golden Core breakthrough. The completed sacred land included teaching buildings, martial arenas, dormitories, a Scripture Pavilion, Treasure Pavilion, Mission Hall, Elders' Council, outer- and inner-sect residences, and a trading market. 75

On its founding day, Lu Yunzhu announced that anyone—Soul Master or ordinary person, regardless of Innate Soul Power—could undergo selection and receive immortal-cultivation methods upon passing. He also declared that the sacred land possessed eight Title Douluo and two Golden Core Realm experts. 75

Qian Daoliu subsequently brought his eight worshippers into the organization, transferring a major portion of Spirit Hall's elite strength to the newly founded sacred land. 75

Disciple Recruitment

Misty Sacred Land does not judge prospective disciples by innate talent or natural aptitude. Its stated standards are perseverance and upright character. 85
