Before long, under Merlot's guidance, Riezel and his group boarded the ultra-large Floating Magic Battleship and entered the cabins of the warship known as the Sphinx.
The interior of the ship was far more spacious than Riezel had imagined. Unlike those military warships, it did not feel heavy or cold. Instead, it was exceptionally bright and brimming with a sense of technology.
Although talking about a sense of technology in a world with supernatural powers like magic sounded rather absurd, the interior of the Floating Magic Battleship truly gave Riezel the impression of futuristic technology. It resembled the inside of a space base or orbital station, making him feel as though he had somehow traveled into a world like Marvel and boarded S.H.I.E.L.D.'s Helicarrier.
Yeah... it felt like the entire art style had changed.
Still, he had to admit that the feeling was quite novel.
Neither in his previous life nor this one had Riezel ever experienced anything like it, so he found himself rather intrigued.
"Would you like to visit the bridge, sir?"
Perhaps having seen through Riezel's thoughts, Merlot made the suggestion herself.
Riezel considered it, then ultimately shook his head.
"Let's not make so much trouble. We should just set off."
It was obvious that if he really went to the bridge, the scene would become quite a sensation again.
If he had been alone, Riezel would not have minded wandering around. But being surrounded and escorted like this made him less inclined to go running about.
"Then I'll take you to your room, sir."
Merlot seemed a little disappointed, but she had no intention of going against Riezel's wishes and began leading the way.
The guards from the Holy Sword Church who had accompanied Riezel also dispersed, heading off to stand watch or patrol according to
