Among those three empires, one was particularly legendary and historic. Even today, everyone still recited its name.
That was because this empire had been the first nation to welcome a Savior, and it was the home of Moslo's Sword, which had now vanished among the three Holy Swords.
Back when Moslo's Sword still existed, that empire could be said to have stood unrivaled in the Source.
There was no other reason for it. The wielders chosen by Moslo's Sword had appeared in that empire generation after generation, sharing an exceedingly deep connection with it.
Following the guidance of each generation of Saviors, the empire had fought alongside them on the front lines against the Abyss time and again, repelling the Abyss's invasions together with them again and again.
Against such a historical backdrop, the entire Source had practically centered around that empire. It was also because of this that humanity had thoroughly established itself as the dominant race of the Source World, officially becoming the most powerful living race in the Source and feared by countless other races.
Unfortunately, no world possessed eternal prosperity, much less eternal strength.
That once-glorious empire eventually became a thorn in the Abyss's side and, more than ten thousand years ago, suffered a massive invasion from the Abyss.
With the assistance of forces composed of vast numbers of Abyss Believers, the Abyss paid an enormous price to open the largest Gate in history within that empire's borders.
It was said that beyond that Gate lay not only an endless army of Abyss monsters, but also over a hundred Abyss Demon Lords who descended in person and launched a
