Originally, Darkness had only left such a projection in Orus to keep watch over Arad.
In his plans, although Arad had largely lost his usefulness, if he could be used to arrange a Blood Sacrifice Ritual and offer the entire Principality of Libian as a sacrifice to the Abyss, the benefits would naturally be immense.
If Arad truly carried out a Blood Sacrifice Ritual in the Principality of Libian according to his wishes, then the final fruits of that ritual would belong solely to him.
