Just as Renani was panicking, unsure of what treatment awaited her, sudden voices appeared and temporarily rescued her.

"I-I'm fine." Intimidated by their presence, Riezel involuntarily took a step back before raising his hands in a calming gesture. "You two need to calm down. Don't be so flustered."
Yet upon hearing Riezel's words, the two girls who normally obeyed his every word not only failed to listen, but glared at him instead.
"You've got the nerve to say that?" Naisha said furiously. "Do you not know why we're so worried, sir?"
"You're getting bolder and bolder, sir." Merlot spoke in a chillingly soft voice. "Knowing full well the situation you're in, you still dared to go out alone in the middle of the night without even bringing the Holy Sword. Should I admire your courage, or be dumbfounded by your recklessness?"
After being berated by the two girls, Riezel gave an awkward laugh.
"Haven't I said it countless times? I can protect myself!"
As he spoke, Riezel nudged Renani beside him with his foot, speaking as though to divert their attention.
