Night had only just fallen when Riezel returned to his room, lit the lamp, sat on the bed, and opened the documents Yanifei had given him containing information on the Kasafegeer Mountains. He began reading them carefully.
Once he had finished, Riezel clicked his tongue and shook his head.
"Looks like even the Queen's Kingdom royal family, descended from that Tistis Tribe, doesn't know much about the Kasafegeer Mountains."
The documents did not contain much information on the Kasafegeer Mountains. Although there was far more than the rumors circulating among the people, Riezel had already learned quite a bit about the mountains from Yanifei. Compared against that knowledge, there was not much new information—only a few additional details about what he already knew.
The only truly valuable thing was the map showing the route to the Kasafegeer Mountains.
According to the documents, the super-powerful Blizzard shrouding the polar region at the northernmost edge of Queen Tistis's Kingdom covered an enormous area. Without an accurate route map to guide them, even those capable of surviving unharmed within the Blizzard would meet only one end: becoming lost within it, unable even to find their way back out.
This map of the Kasafegeer Mountains had been passed down from the era of the Ancient Magic Civilization. Yanifei herself had relied on it to venture deep into the Blizzard and catch sight of the Kasafegeer Mountains. Unfortunately, she too had been unable to fully withstand that overwhelming Blizzard and could only retreat in frustration.
