There was a library in the Temple as well.
Unlike the libraries of outside powers, which were hidden away with utmost secrecy, this one was simply set up like an ordinary library in a corner on the left side of the Temple. Aside from one librarian and ten Alchemy Dolls responsible for daily cleaning, there was not even a single guard.
There were no barriers protecting it, nor were there any hidden warning mechanisms. The Temple library stood there in plain sight, and anyone was allowed to enter and browse freely.
Here, aside from certain books deemed forbidden due to being excessively dangerous, which were kept under strict guard and prohibited from being read, all other Sword Skill Books, Magic Books, ancient historical texts, precious documents, and so on had no restrictions whatsoever and could be freely consulted.
Clearly, due to the Hidden World's long-standing peace and the ideals of the Ancient Magic Civilization, the Temple's personnel had an almost outrageously low sense of caution and wariness toward fellow humans. They were nothing like the outside powers, who guarded valuable knowledge with utmost secrecy.
It was said that even outsiders who were not part of the Temple could freely enter and leave the Temple library and read whatever books they wished, so long as they received the approval of any member of the Temple's management.
Note that the Temple management mentioned here did not refer to highly esteemed figures such as priests, but to any Cleric with sufficient seniority in the Temple.
Normally, as long as someone had spent ten full years in the Temple, they could at least become a High Priest, managing ten senior clerics, one hundred junior clerics, and one thousand Temple Knights under their command, thereby becoming an unquestionable member of the Temple's management.
