The night in the Hidden World was no different from the outside world. A bright moon and countless stars hung in the sky, creating the illusion that one was still outside.
Like the outside world, the Hidden World had day and night, a sun, a moon, and many stars. Yet none of these could possibly be real.
No matter how much it resembled the outside world, the Hidden World was still merely a Pocket Dimension, not a complete world.
Thus, its alternating days and nights, its sun, moon, stars, and seasonal changes in climate and temperature were all artificially replicated through magical rituals. As a result, the environment and climate here were no different from those outside, fully capable of supporting humanity's natural reproduction and survival without any deviation in the evolutionary chain caused by the absence of a natural factor.
When Riezel stepped out of the artificial mountain, bright moonlight spilled over him, gentle and soft.
The cave behind him, however, no longer closed.
Its purpose had been fulfilled. From this day onward, it would never close again, allowing anyone to enter and leave.
Of course, there was nothing left inside either, save for an utterly ordinary Statue of God.
Riezel turned around and looked at the cave behind him. After a while, he suddenly raised a hand and slowly brushed it across the artificial mountain.
The next second, an Emerald Pendant appeared in his hand.
It was Meloy God.
As he played with the pendant he had acquired long ago, Riezel smiled faintly.
"Now that I think about it carefully, the two special effects of this Ancient Secret Treasure had already hinted at its connection to Dimensional Energy. I simply never realized it before."
One of Meloy God's two special effects concerned time, while the other concerned space.
