Loki Familia Headquarters, the Great Gate of Twilight Manor.
Today, this place was bustling in a way it had never been over the past two days.
The Familia members who had remained at the base were all more excited and exhilarated than before. They cheered and jumped about as they welcomed a group of people inside.
By the time Riezel descended from the tower and arrived at the gate, the group was already surrounded by the Familia members stationed behind, everyone wearing relaxed, happy smiles and creating a lively atmosphere.
Riezel's gaze almost instantly locked onto the leaders of that group.
Several individuals whose presence clearly overshadowed the rest of their companions came into his view.
"We're finally back!"
The energetic cheer came from a girl with wheat-colored skin, dressed in something resembling a dancer's outfit. A thin strip of cloth covered her upper body, while a long wrap skirt was tied around her waist, leaving her navel and shapely limbs completely exposed.
"Tiona, you're too loud."
The one scolding the energetic wheat-skinned girl was another girl of the same age who looked almost exactly like her, aside from her waist-length hair and certain differences in build. It was as if they had been cast from the same mold.
"How many times have you shouted since we came through the door?"
Beside them, a young beastman with animal ears, a tail, facial tattoos, and the look of a delinquent clicked his tongue with an irritated expression.
The Amazon twins and the young werewolf stood in the most conspicuous spot, bickering with one another.
Yet the three people standing beside them had an even stronger presence.
They were a Pallum, an Elf, and a Dwarf.
The Pallum was shorter than anyone present, with a childish appearance that made him look like a human child.
The Elf had emerald-green hair, white-based robes, a silver staff in hand, long pointed ears, and beauty beyond compare.
The Dwarf was broad and powerfully built, clad in heavy armor. He was only a little taller than the Pallum beside him and shorter than the Elf, with muscles plainly visible to the naked eye.
The three of them smiled as they watched everyone around them, as though standing guard over something, carrying an almost kindly air.
Riezel's gaze swept over the three of them, then seemed to be drawn by something as his eyes uncontrollably stopped on the last person.
But before Riezel could take a proper look at her, a loud cry interrupted him and burst into the warm scene.
"I missed you all so much!"
Loki came rushing out of the tower with that shout, throwing herself at the leading figures.
No, more accurately, Loki was throwing herself at the last person who had caught Riezel's attention.
"Ais-tan!"
Like some middle-aged man seeing the woman he loved, Loki screeched as she pounced toward her.
Everyone present saw what happened next.
They saw a head of soft golden hair suddenly move.
Bang!
With an explosive crack, the owner of that golden hair shifted aside and drove a fist into Loki's solar plexus.
"Gah!"
Loki let out a muffled cry as all the air was forced from her lungs, then collapsed right in front of the golden-haired girl.
".I'm back, Loki."
Her voice had not the slightest rise or fall.
That clear, pleasant voice told everyone that the owner of the golden hair was undoubtedly a young and beautiful woman.
And that was indeed the case.
The girl standing before the fallen Loki still had a trace of childishness in her appearance. She was clearly young, with a slender body clad in azure Light Armor, delicate fair skin, well-defined features, and beauty no less than that of an Elf or goddess.
Her eyes matched her hair, faintly gleaming with a translucent light. An inexplicable aura surrounded her, making her seem like a work of art that had stepped out of a painting—so beautiful that she almost did not seem real.
The only pity was that her exquisite, lovely face bore little expression. Like a Doll, she gave off an indifferent feeling.
Facing this overly beautiful Doll Girl, Loki merely raised her head with difficulty.
"Your moves have improved again, Ais-tan."
Loki forced out a smile uglier than crying.
"You deserved that, Loki!"
Tiona, the energetic Amazon girl, came over with a look of undisguised glee.
"We're exhausted, Loki. Could you please stop harassing us for once and let us get a proper rest?"
The other Amazon girl, who looked much more mature than the energetic one, appeared with a sigh.
"Tch."
The young beastman also looked impatient, showing not the slightest respect for his goddess.
Yet there was nothing uncomfortable in the atmosphere between them. Instead, it felt naturally harmonious.
That showed that their relationship was not merely good—it was so close that they could get along without reservations and fool around without restraint.
—Family.
From the scene before him, Riezel saw that word, one that felt somewhat distant to him.
At that moment, the trio who had been watching everyone from behind stepped forward.
"We're back, Loki."
The noble Elf woman, regal as a Queen, spoke to Loki in a stern yet faintly warm voice.
"Get up already. Stop lying there."
The Dwarf warrior then hauled Loki to her feet with bold ease, looking as though he were lifting a doll.
Finally, the Pallum spoke. He was the shortest person there, not even seeming to reach a meter in height. He had hair the color of wheat stalks, lake-green eyes, a face more youthful than anyone else present, and a gleam of wisdom in his eyes.
"This expedition ended smoothly. We suffered no casualties, but the gains were not particularly great. I'll give you the details later. For now, let everyone take a good bath and get some proper rest, Loki."
The young Pallum gave his report to Loki in a surprisingly mature tone, cutting straight to the point.
"No problem!" Loki immediately acted as though nothing had happened, grinning as she addressed everyone. "Good work, everyone! Go get some rest first!"
"Yes!"
The Familia members returning from the expedition responded in unison.
"Those who stayed behind at headquarters, move all the loot we brought back inside."
The young Pallum gave orders to the people around him in an entirely matter-of-fact tone.
"Yes, Captain!"
The personnel left behind immediately went to help carry things.
Only Riezel remained where he was, watching the laughing, chatting group enter Twilight Manor together. His gaze never left the leaders at the front.
Riezel was not the only one. Whether they had stayed at headquarters or gone on the expedition, the other Familia members all looked at those people with admiration and affection.
That was only natural.
After all, those people stood at the pinnacle of the Loki Familia—the pillars supporting the entire Familia.
They were powerful.
They were renowned throughout the world.
Among adventurers who explored the Dungeon, people classified all adventurers into Upper Class Adventurers and Lower Class Adventurers according to their levels.
Lower Class Adventurers referred to Lv.1 adventurers, while Upper Class Adventurers were those who had undergone a Level Up and reached Lv.2 or higher.
Upper Class Adventurers were further divided into Third Class Adventurers, Second Class Adventurers, and First Class Adventurers.
Lv.2 adventurers were Third Class Adventurers.
Lv.3 and Lv.4 adventurers were Second Class Adventurers.
Lv.5 adventurers and above were First Class Adventurers.
Generally speaking, as long as a Familia had a Third Class Adventurer, it could be considered beyond the category of small Familias and would gain a certain standing in Orario.
By the same token, if a Familia had a First Class Adventurer, it possessed considerable influence in Orario.
A Familia with multiple First Class Adventurers could be considered one of the foremost great Familias in Orario and even the entire world.
The Loki Familia was one of the great Familias that truly stood at the very top.
Those people were the First Class Adventurers of the Loki Familia.
"Tiona Hiryute, Lv.5, Amazon, Loki Familia executive, title—Great Severance."
"Tione Hiryute, Lv.5, Amazon, Loki Familia executive, title—Angry Snake."
"Bell Cranel, Lv.5, werewolf, Loki Familia executive, title—Fierce Wolf."
These three were the Amazon twin sisters and the young beastman who had spoken first.
The other trio had even more astonishing backgrounds.
"Finn Timna, Lv.6, Pallum hero, captain of the Loki Familia, title—Brave."
"Riveria Lios Alfr, Lv.6, Elven royalty, vice-captain of the Loki Familia, Orario's Strongest Mage, title—Nine Magic Princess."
"Gareth Landrock, Lv.6, Dwarf warrior, one of the leaders of the Loki Familia, title—Heavy Master."
These three were the Loki Familia's strongest three giants. All were part of the Familia's leadership, and they had joined the Loki Familia from the very beginning, fighting from its founding days until now and leading it to its current glory.
There were fewer than ten Lv.6 adventurers in all of Orario, yet the Loki Familia had three of them.
As for the last one—
Riezel once again turned his gaze toward the Doll Girl walking among the crowd, who was somewhat quiet and reserved.
"Ais Wallenstein, Lv.5, Loki Familia executive, the strongest Female Swordsman."
"Title—Sword Princess."
The faint murmur drifted away as though carried on the wind.
"?"
The girl who was about to enter the tower seemed to have heard something. She turned and looked in Riezel's direction.
Their eyes met at once.
In that instant, it was as though each of them could see no one but the other.
