The initial invasion was unexpectedly calm.

With the Green Flesh filling the countless passages having been cleared away, at least on the 9th Floor of the Man-made Labyrinth, Riezel and the others encountered not even the slightest obstacle.

The endless traps and mechanisms within the Man-made Labyrinth appeared to have been damaged by the Green Flesh's destructive spread.

The Colorful Monsters were also almost nowhere to be seen. Aside from the occasional Man-eating Flower that emerged only to be swiftly dismembered by the adventurers, the dense hordes of monsters that had once swarmed forth had completely vanished.

Thus, whether it was the Fourth, Fifth, and Sixth Units invading from the Dungeon's 9th Floor, or the First, Second, and Third Units entering through the massive pit on Daedalus Road, none of them encountered much resistance at the start. They advanced unimpeded all the way to their destination—the 10th Floor of Artificial Labyrinth Knossos.

And from this floor onward, Artificial Labyrinth Knossos, transformed into a Demonic Lair, finally revealed its malice.
