The Place Where the Last Spark Remained

The Hidden World.

Riezel and Liz had been searching for this place for a long time.

In order to find it—or rather, to obtain information related to it—they had even crossed the entire Ginas Kingdom and traveled to Sinyele, the neutral city in the Neutral Zone.

In the end, however, the two of them had made the trip for nothing and failed to obtain any information whatsoever about the Hidden World.

Now that people from that place had finally appeared, both of them were filled with complicated emotions.

Liz in particular looked incomparably conflicted.

"Tell us."

Riezel rubbed Liz's head, silently comforting her for a moment before looking at Evie and casually asking a question.

"What kind of place is it, exactly?"

That question did not earn a response from Evie.

She first looked at Riezel in surprise, apparently not expecting him to ask such a question when he already knew of the Hidden World's existence. Then, she became apprehensive and fell silent.

Clearly, Evie had admitted it so readily earlier because she had assumed that Riezel knew what the Hidden World was.

But now that Riezel had revealed his lack of understanding about the Hidden World, Evie had to consider whether revealing its information to him might bring about terrible consequences.

In short, Evie still did not want to betray her homeland.

Thus, she chose not to answer Riezel's question and remained silent.

Riezel did not get angry at this. He merely spoke indifferently.

"The fact that I'm asking you face-to-face like this already shows you enough courtesy. Don't force me to use magic to search your memories."

Evie's expression finally changed slightly at those words.

"Um... could you please tell me?"

At that moment, Liz could not help stepping forward.

"What exactly is the Hidden World?" Liz pleaded.
