Morning sunlight filtered through the flowers and trees of the forest, shining upon the school buildings of Tokyo Metropolitan Jujutsu High School, which carried the atmosphere of a shrine.
In one of the dorm rooms, Riezel, who had already woken up, had just put on his uniform when the sunlight streaming through the window washed over him.
The sunlight was not harsh, so Riezel ignored it and stood before a full-length mirror, looking over his current attire.
His upper body was clad in a white uniform jacket with wide sleeves.
His lower body was clad in black Western-style uniform trousers.
The uniform was adorned with golden buttons, each etched with black swirling patterns.
This was the emblem representing Jujutsu High, essentially its school crest.
Looking at the white-on-top, black-on-bottom outfit, Riezel muttered to himself in confusion.
"Wasn't it supposed to be black?"
He remembered that Itadori Yuji, Fushiguro Megumi, Kugisaki Nobara, and even the already-graduated Gojo Satoru all wore entirely black Jujutsu High uniforms.
So why had his become white?
"Wasn't there someone in the original story who, like me, started wearing a white uniform as soon as he enrolled?"
Riezel suddenly recalled this.
Unfortunately, it was a plot point he had not paid much attention to, so he could not remember the reason behind it.
"Whatever. It's not important."
Unable to figure it out, Riezel simply gave up thinking about it and pulled an ID card from his pocket.
This was the student ID Gojo Satoru had helped him obtain. It bore Riezel's photo and some basic information.
Worth mentioning was the character "Special" marked in the upper-left corner of Riezel's photo.
"That's interesting."
Riezel knew perfectly well what this "Special" represented.
Of course, it was still a trivial matter. At least, Riezel did not consider it particularly important.
