The Second-Year Seniors

Time quietly slipped by as Riezel immersed himself in developing his moves.

Before he knew it, only about half a month remained until the Kyoto Sister School Exchange Event.

That day, after leaving his dorm room, Riezel did not head toward the forest as usual.

He deliberately waited for Fushiguro Megumi. Only after Fushiguro emerged from his room did he meet up with him.

"You want to meet the second-year seniors?"

Fushiguro was surprised by Riezel's intentions.

"Yes." Riezel answered decisively. "We're teammates who'll be participating in the exchange event together. We should at least meet once."

"Besides, Teacher Gojo told me to go take a look before."

"You and Kugisaki are still training with the second-years, right? Let's go over today."

Riezel had basically reached the end of his development of Dimensional Slash.

It could not yet be considered a complete success, but it had proven that his previous line of thought was correct.

He had now successfully incorporated Black Flash into his blades, allowing him to use it in slashes to create spatial distortion. He could even barely turn that spatial distortion into spatial cutting.

All that remained was to continuously improve his proficiency and success rate until he could use it in actual combat.

This was work that required patience. As long as he kept at it, he would eventually complete it.

That was why Riezel had temporarily stopped training and found the time to meet the second-years.

As for Itadori Yuji, he had recently been following the Grade 1 Jujutsu Sorcerer mentoring him on missions, so Riezel had not seen much of him.
